Practice-Based Research

Music . Sound . Technology . Human Creativity

My current practice-based research explores the relationship between human creativity, music and emerging technologies.

Earlier research explored projection mapping and mixed-media performance through the audiovisual project Projecting into the Future: Mapping out a Starting Place. The project investigated how interactive digital technologies could support creative practice and contribute to new forms of artistic expression. The research and accompanying artwork were accepted to be presented at the Australasian Computer Music Association (ACMA).

Building on this foundation, my current research extends into electroacoustic music, sound transformation and creative practice. Through creative experimentation, it explores how emerging technologies are consistently reshaping musical processes while supporting new forms of artistic collaboration and expression.
